No Sleep Records is proud to welcome the first hip-hop act to the family, Double Vision. The group features twin brothers Johnathan and Jarred Lindsay. Mackamillion and Mackmore, as they are dubbed, have been compared to duos such as Kriss Kross, Camp Lo, Little Brother, Outkast, and hyped Chicago-based The Cool Kids. Double Vision addresses the issues of the common folk, rather than the "iced out jewels" or drug dealer stories which our ears are currently saturated with. "We like to set trends for what should and shouldn't be. We're not gangsters, we're more like a funky twist of backpackers and macks," Mackamillion says. Look for the group's debut EP available later this year from No Sleep Records. 'Til then, check the brothers out at myspace.com/doublevisionmackrap.

No Sleep Records has officially announced the upcoming vinyl release of Sleeping Giant's upcoming sophomore album "Sons Of Thunder" (CD out on Facedown June 23rd). The first pressing of "Sons Of Thunder" will be available in 3 color ways and limited to 1000 (200 Gold, 300 Red, 500 Blue). Pre-order information and a street date will be announced soon.

"Paper Boats, or Some Poems I Wrote" is a 28-page collection of poetry and short stories by Wonder Years front man and lyricist, Dan Campbell. Dark and humorous, "Paper Boats..." represents almost two years of the author's life and deals with a variety of subject matter from the death of a close friend to hit singles by Devo and just about everything in between. The first pressing is limited to 200, hand numbered copies and features the artwork of James Heimer (the man behind the "Won't Be Pathetic Forever" album art). The new EP "Only Boundaries" from Balance and Composure will be released this Summer as a 12" EP. The first pressing will be limited to 500 copies and will have a CD inside with all the songs on the 12" EP on No Sleep Records. 100 of the 12"'s will have a screen printed side b. Street dates and pre-orders will be announced shortly.
